My Experience Working For MAC

Make-up Art Cosmetics, MAC is a trend setter in the makeup industry. They are cutting edge with their products, looks and launches. MAC always searches for new and innovative ways to create magic for the makeup artist and the day to day makeup lover.
Being a part of a MAC team I have learned so much. My appreciations for the art, my talent and my skill have grown leaps and bounds because of my working experience for the company. I believe that MAC is truly dedicated to not only there clients but to their employees as well. They offer so much incentive to learn and grow as an artist and as a person. The perks are endless. To be in a position to work with new products on a daily basis is an amazing opportunity for any artist’s creative development.
When new product lines are launched there are so many behind the scene things that take place. For each launch and new products there is training given to the employees which include product knowledge and information, application techniques and how to best accommodate our clients. As a result of that we are able to assist each consumer with products to meet there needs, their wants and to help them explore outside of their make-up box of beliefs.
It is so gratifying to help a person achieve a look for themselves that they have been longing for but were un-able to create. Not only finding products and colors that are perfect for them, but being able to walk them through step by step to help them recreate a look they love! Whether our clients are bonified makeup lovers, first timers, or unknowing or afraid to create various looks for themselves, it is a gift to be a part of their process of makeup discovery.
I believe there is so much magic in makeup and what great things it does not only esthetically but for the insides too. Feeling good about yourself just looks good. Makeup is amazing and I believe MAC to be one of the best, but confidence is the most attractive quality of them all. When you put the two of them together they are an unstoppable duo.
MAC products cater to all generations. Not just the young, but the young at heart as well. MAC serves well for all ages, all skin types and all ethnicities. There truly is something for everyone.
In conclusion, I believe that MAC encompasses all of the qualities of a thriving company. From what our clients experiences when visiting a MAC store or MAC counter, to the behind the curtain events that make it all possible. It continues to be a great privilege to be a part of a MAC team. Working with other make-up artists is enlightening and exciting. There is so much to learn and soak up. One make-up artist helping another, who could ask for anything more! Being a part of the MAC family has helped me in so many ways. My work ethic is strong, my belief in the artistry of makeup is undeniable and my passion to do what it is I love under any circumstances and in any environment is priceless. I owe much credit to my personal success to this company who has encouraged me artistically and showed me that when it comes to makeup anything is possible!

“How To Apply Professional Looking Fake Eyelashes At Home”

Having been in the Beauty Industry for more than 8 years the question a lot of woman asks me is, “How do you put on fake eyelashes?’. People don’t always want to spend the money on having to have a professional apply their professional fake eye lashes all the time. Come on lets face it, we can’t always afford that convenience. So here it is step by step method on “How you can put Professional looking Fake Eyelashes on at home, the easy way”. It may seem like a lot of steps to follow, but once you’ve got it down it should take you less than 5 minutes to apply them yourself!
There are many designs of fake eyelashes, after you have found a pair of Professional Looking Fake Eyelashes that you think will enhance your eyes, and then the next question to ask is “What color of glue to use, clear or black?” There is no right or wrong some people like clear, I personally like the black it’s just preference, really.
Steps for Professional Fake Eyelash Application
Before you start, make sure that you’ve already cut the eyelashes to fit your eyes; you do not attempt this without supervision if you are under 18 years of age and do not close your eyes when applying eyelashes.
Step 1:
Cleanse your eyelids with a general toner or water to remove oil from lids (Put eye shadow if you like)
Step 2:
Put the glue on the fake eyelashes
Step 3:
Wait 20 seconds before applying the fake eyelashes onto eye lid
Step 4:
Start applying to the outer lids (applying on the outer lids ensure a perfect fit/application)
Step 5:
Use the end of your tweezers to help you set your Fake eyelashes firmly on your lids
Step 6:
Fluff the eyelashes with your fingers
Final step:
For more natural looking lashes apply mascara form the root of your natural eyelashes; ending the application in the middle of the Fake eyelashes. Do not apply the mascara all the way.

- Proper removal of the Fake eyelashes from its tray is crucial. You don’t want to rip it off the tray. Also do not pull on the fake lashes; slightly use your thumb to remove fake lashes.
- Wait about 20 seconds for the glue to come to a right consistency before applying to fake eyelashes. Remember applying too early can cause a big glob on your eyelids and can be kind of messy.
- Use the end of your tweezers to help you set your Fake eyelashes firmly onto your lids.
Remember: Eyelashes are disposable so after you use it, throw it away. Getting bacteria in your eyes is just not worth it.
